• Rashi Tiwari – CEO
She is a PhD candidate at the department of Mechanical Engineering at UNR. In addition to specializing in Ionic Polymer Metal Composite research, Rashi has also worked on Intergraded Robot, Piezoelectric Vibrating Type Gyro-Sensor, Cylinder Type Gyroscope, and has numerous publications and presentations in these fields. She is on the executive council board of the Graduate Student Association and the Society of Women Engineers and plays a vital role in the decision making of these entities.

• Yvonne Dang – CFO
She is a MBA candidate at UNR, specializing in Finance. Yvonne’s professional background includes 4 years in the financial services industry and 4 years of international casino marketing. Yvonne had also owned and operated a successful retail start-up which was subsequently sold to a wholesale customer.

• Sang-Mun Kim – CTO
He is in his third semester of the Ph.D program in mechanical engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno. Sang-Mun has worked as a student researcher for development of thin film materials including the 3D electro-magnetic (EM) simulation during graduate school. He began working as a full-time researcher for one year after graduating with his M.S. Sang-Mun enjoys experimenting with development and application of IPMC (Ionic Polymer Metal Composites), one of the few to manufacture this material in the United States. His experience in the field of smart materials will be integral to the technical overseeing of the product manufacturing.

• Alex Vanderhoff, VP – Engineering
She is currently pursuing an MS in Mechanical Engineering. Alex’s area of specialty is in thermodynamics, dynamics, aerodynamics and robotics. Previous work experience involves designing a solar hot water heating system for household use with a focus on system modeling and thermal monitoring of the designed system. Alex is currently working with metal hydrides to develop new types of robotic actuators.

• Kaustav Sinha, VP – Research and Product Development
Kaustav has been working in the area of developing sensors and materials for the past 4 years. As a teaching assistant, he has been associated with the Lemelson Center for Invention, Innovation & Entrepreneurship in guiding several senior spin out companies. Kaustav is currently working towards his PhD on developing smart materials and devices based on magnetorheological (MR) technology. He has been actively publishing his work in peer-reviewed journals, proceedings and patents. During the summer of 2007 he will be working at the Ford global research and product development center in Dearborn, Michigan in alternative technology related areas. He has also been recognized internationally in areas of total quality management by the international quality control council.
